Domfront

The city of Domfront offers a exceptional view on the surrounding countryside and the Andaine forest. The origines of the town go back from the 11th century.

Things to see in Domfront :

• The Romanesque church Notre-Dame-sur-l'Eau dating from the 11th century
• The Saint-Julien church built in the 20s
• The Palue Manor dating from the 16th century

The residence of the viscount ha s a typical façade made of granite and sand stone. It dates from the 12th century. From the panoramic view one can see the Maine, the Mont Margantin, the South-Manche and, when the weather is clear, the Mont Saint-Michel.

The 'Festival des médièvales de Domfront' is a medieval festival that takes place each year during a weekend (performig arts, troubadours, medieval music etc...)
