From the Maison Forestière de la Coche (1350 m) there follows a carriage road past the house Forest Pre Grandu.
After deviation from the Pitcher Fountain is joined to the forest road to New Combau Jasse de la Chau (1614 m), where the hard work begins.
We leave the forest road to a path more narrow and steep and soon, our environment changes: No more green meadows with many flowers is now increasingly rocky.
Pas de la Ville (1925 m) is rapidly reached. On the other side we can see Gresse en Vercors. We continue towards the summit of the Grand Veymont and 2341 m high point of the Massif du Vercors. Some goats graze peacefully without worrying about our presence. The summit offers stunning views of Mont Aiguille (2086 m).
The descent is by no kittens (1817 m). Turning around you can see the other side of the Grand Veymont and Aiguillette (or Little Veymont).
To avoid as much forest roads we drive and the Fountain of Scialet Serrone (1670 m) along the foot of the Kittens Not a line of cairns without a path. They are sufficiently numerous to avoid losing the right direction. A slight trickle of water still flows at the Fountain. Close to the concrete footings of the old refuge of Serrone victim of a fire and never rebuilt.
The Fountain of Serrone, we joined the Fontaine de Gerland before completing the logging road Rachier.
