Musées du Château des Rohan
The Rohan castle houses the archaeological museum, art and history of Saverne. This building was the residence of four cardinals of Rohan. He was then a town hall, an imperial and royal palace. Today it has one of the oldest museums in Alsace.
The museum has a rich collection of Gallo-Roman and medieval archaeological works discovered in the Severn area. It also presents religious sculptures dating from the fifteenth to the nineteenth century.
A room of the museum is dedicated to the history of Saverne.
