Colonne de la Grande Armée
The column of the Grande Armée is on the outskirts of Boulogne-sur-Mer, a town of Art and History on the Côte d'Opale. It was built from 1804 to 1824, in honour of Napoleon. From the top of the 54 metres of the column, tourists have a view on the sea, on the hinterland of Boulogne and even on England when the weather is favourable.
