Cathédrale Saint-Julien au Mans


Built between the eleventh and the fifteenth century, the architectural styles that make up the cathedral are varied (Plantagenet, Champagne, Normandy and French).

The Romanesque nave and the apse is an example of Gothic art. The 13 chapels around the double ambulatory chorus make this one of the largest and most elegant of France. The cathedral is named after Saint-Julien Le Mans would be Christianized in the fourth century.
