Château de Coussac-Bonneval

Castle of Bonneval was built in 930 on a hill overlooking the surrounding area. Flanked by the four corners of large round towers facing the four cardinal points, the building occupied an important strategic position and was part of a line of fortresses whose purpose was to defend the borders of Aquitaine.

Rebuilt in the XIV century, it has such a rich furniture that makes it a veritable museum of decorative arts, a must for your visit of Coussac-Bonneval.
