Forges de baignes visit

Free guided tour of the remarkable Forges de Baignes site. Meet at 2:30 p.m. at Place des Forges in Baignes (no reservation required).

Discover its rich industrial history, representative of the iron and steel industry of Haute-Saône, its exceptional 18th-century architecture, and the evolution of industrial techniques and society.

A furnished workers’ accommodation and the management offices will be open to visitors. A rich collection of tools and foundry pieces will also be on display.

The tour concludes with a beautiful exhibition of stoves and furnaces.
