Visit forges de baignes

Free guided tour of the remarkable Baignes Forges site. Meeting point at 2:30 p.m. in Place des Forges, Baignes (no reservation required).

Discover the site's rich industrial heritage, a fine example of the iron and steel industry in the Haute-Saône region, its outstanding 18th-century architecture, and the evolution of industrial techniques and society. The tour includes access to a fully furnished workers' house and the former management offices.

Visitors will also discover an extensive collection of historic tools and cast-iron foundry pieces. The tour concludes with a beautiful exhibition of traditional cast-iron stoves.
