Enjoy a free guided tour of the remarkable Baignes Ironworks. Meet at 2:30 p.m. in Place des Forges, Baignes (no booking required).

Discover the site's rich industrial history, representative of the iron and steel industry of the Haute-Saône region, its outstanding 18th-century architecture, and the evolution of industrial techniques and society over the centuries.

The tour also includes access to a furnished workers' house and the former management offices, as well as a presentation of an impressive collection of tools and cast-iron foundry pieces.

The visit concludes with a fascinating exhibition of traditional cast-iron stoves.
