Tourism Les Sables-d'Olonne

Les Sables d'Olonne is located in the department of Vendée in the region Pays de la Loire. This town is a seaside resort, but also a fishing port, trade and craft!

Many things can be discovered in addition to beach activities and swimming. For example, tourists can stroll through the city and admire the street Travot, characteristic houses of the 20th century seaside architecture. Another street worth a look, it bears the name of the street of Hell. It is listed in the record books for being the narrowest street in the world!

The cultural offer of the city is large with many museum. These are sometimes placed in buildings with grand architecture as the Maritime Museum which takes place in the Chateau St. Clair or the old Post Office Hotel which houses the shell museum.
