The Hauts-de-Seine is a French department that is part of the region Ile-de-France. It is surrounded by the departments of Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-d'Oise, Yvelines, l'Essonne, Val-de-Marne and Paris.

The department has numerous museums such as the Albert Kahn Museum à Boulogne-Billancourt, the Chateaubriand Museum à Châtenay-Malabry, and the Île-de-France Museum à Sceaux and many more, as well as many cinemas and theatres.

The natural heritage offers: The Bois de Boulogne, the Chanteraines Park, the Bois de Garenne and the Bois de la Solitude as well as the State-owned forest of Malmaison.

The Hauts-de-Seine host also great music festivals, usually located in Saint-Cloud Park and on the La Défense square from where fire works are also launched.

Rock en Seine, the Défense Jazz Festival or the Chorus Festival are among the ones that are the most popular.
