Tourism Bouillante


Boiling is located in the west of the island of Basse-Terre, the leeward side.It covers the western slopes of the volcanic massif of Low Earth falls steeply in the Caribbean Sea.

The town is thus comprise a series of "sections", hamlets, each corresponding to a path starting from the National Highway 2 which crosses the town from north to south along the coast, ending mostly in a cul de sac in the mountains in an old "home"

Its southern boundary with Old Inhabitants is the ravine Renoir and Anse à la Barque.

Its western boundary with Petit-Bourg is formed by the ridges and in particular the Piton or break Bouillante (about 1096 m altitude)

Its northern boundary with Pointe-Noire is the river Colas.
