Tourism Sainte-Anne
We can not say that the village is still popular with tourists ... Indeed, it has a charming small because the village was almost entirely rebuilt in the aftermath of Hurricane Hugo. But we found out the charm of the Caribbean especially in the central square of the village. Sainte-Anne centralizes a number of benefits that can be very interesting for tourists. Near Pointe a Pitre, its location allows quick access without having to bear the extra tourists in Gosier. She also has two of the most beautiful beaches of Guadeloupe. They are complementary and both deserve a glance. Indeed, one is public (photo), lively and frequented mainly by local people. The other, the Club Med, is "postcard". This one, with lots of palms and perfect exposure is a true beach paradise. Ideal for souvenir photos! Go ahead, preferably when Club Med is closed, there are fewer people, with a little luck you to even be alone (as in our way!). Downhill and funboard possible on site. The sights are around the village, in particular, the cemetery all in black and white, pretty special. The rental bungalows are of good quality (see our good plan). The restaurants are around the village and we particularly recommend Chez Anne where you eat the best lobster on the island feet in the sand on the municipal beach (if you want to be sure to have call - the front to reserve your lobster because the stock is limited. They are caught in the morning). Beware of ti-punch particularly strong!
