Tourism Pontivy

Pontivy is located in the department of Morbihan and the Bretagne area. Pontivy is according to its inhabitants a rather calm and pleasant city. One finds there, in addition to several various historic buildings, a cinema, a village hall, a discotheque, a bowling, a library and other cultural places. Moreover each year several festivals of music take place. In summer the city is open to the tourists, interested by the medieval castle of the end of XVth century, partially restored, sheltering each year an estival exposure. It is also a big city of bicycle with several stages of the Tour de France passed in the streets of the city and from the racing cyclists were born there like Ferdinand Drogo, Paul Drogo. Each year takes place the Festival of Rock'n'roll in Vista which gathers 4000 people per year.
