Tourism Pezenas

Pézenas is located in the department of Herault and the Languedoc-Roussillon area. The Carnival of Pézenas is a traditional festival where each one takes part and plays its own role. In Pézenas, the Carnival is the festival of the city. It is organized, each year, around Mardi Gras. The day of Mardi Gras, l' animal totemic of the city, the Foal of Pézenas, leaves in the streets the city. You should not miss the l'Hôtel de Lacoste with its staircases and galleries with Gothic vaults, the Gambetta Place with the house of the trades of art or the Collegial Saint Jean, a church built in the 18th century on the ruins of a templier church.
