The tramway of Mont Blanc

In the morning, skiing on the Brevent, the closest station to the centre of Chamonix (black run down from Le Brevent to Planpraz "Charles Bozon" is great for good skiers with an impressive wall along one side). In the afternoon, you'll take the tramway of Mont Blanc to discover the mountain. The route: Le Fayet (580 m), Saint-Gervais (792 m), Montivon (1400 m), col de Voza (1 653 m), Bellevue (1 800 m), Mont Lachat (2047 m). It is from there that the high-mountain trail, made in the rock at the foot of Les Rognes, begins. It ends at the Nid d'Aigle (2372 m).

Ski touring to the Col du Belvedere. From the Col, looking north through west the views extend into the Bérard valley and further out over the Samoens valley. South lies the formidable Massif du Mont Blanc with famous peaks such as Les Grandes Jorasses and Le Dru.
