The borough is capped by its medieval castle built by the Barasc family in XIIrd century. ( which a member, Géraud V, was bishop of Cahors of 1237 to 1250). It dominates the valley of Célé facing the village of Camboulit.

It is crossed by the secondary road 19 which connects Figeac to Caussade and by the way of Saint Jacques de Compostelle: GR. 65 which continues towards Gréalou, Cajarc, Cahors or by the splendid alternative: the GR. 651 which traverses the valley of Célé until its confluence with the Lot, close to Bouziès, where it joined the GR. 36.

This small village of 105 inhabitants, calm and resting located close to the river " Lot" but which also extends towards causse, offers to the visitors the pleasure to admire the old typical houses, ways to be borrowed in causse for beautiful hiking. A resurgence, Landenouse, will astonish you by the color by its water. Medieval castle, do not remain a Romance tower and part of the ditches.

This village of 242 inhabitants to the right in the middle of the meadows of the valley of Drauzou, was the theatre into 1793 of "  attack of Camburat" and of the fires of 1944. Today remain only the plenitude of the places and some Romance vestiges of the church of the village.
