Le mémorial de Verdun
The battle will take place between February 21 and December 19, 1916 and made nearly 300 000 deaths.
Located on the site of the old station Fleury-Devant-Douaumont, Verdun Memorial builted in 1967 under the supervision of Academician and veteran Maurice Genevoix. It is currently one of the major European museums of the Great War.
Thus, it allows visitors to understand the terrible life combined experience of combatants. It contains a collection of many objects that speak of daily life.
A field trip that explores the battlefield of Verdun is also proposed.
