Exposition « deyrolle, leçons d’anatomie » au château de la bour
For its third edition, the exhibition “Deyrolle, Anatomy Lessons” expands around the theme “Move Well, Eat Well, Feel Good Mentally”, with the ambition of encouraging healthier lifestyles. At a time when lifestyle-related diseases are rapidly increasing and mental health has become a major issue, Deyrolle offers a radical perspective: our body functions like an ecosystem, constantly interacting with its environment.
An immersive journey in nine stages, “Deyrolle, Anatomy Lessons” introduces visitors to the challenges of health, explains the major discoveries that have shaped the history of Medicine from Antiquity to the present day, and illustrates how this extraordinary machine — the human body — works. Designed for the whole family, the exhibition invites everyone to follow a path punctuated by educational workshops dedicated to movement, nutrition, and mental balance. At the end of the experience, both young and old curious minds will receive an official certificate celebrating their participation.
“This exhibition was born from a simple conviction: the body is not a scientific abstraction; it is our primary tool for living. We wanted to take anatomy out of books and bring it back into lived experience — to feel differently, in the heart of a park, within a garden. This journey was designed to give everyone simple, concrete, and accessible reference points by reconnecting the body with its perception in the open air. Experiencing this within the grounds of La Bourdaisière offers something rare: the opportunity to take the time to understand oneself with serenity.”
