Tourism Plogoff - cap sizun
Plogoff is a villagec of the department of Finistere, at the end of the Cape Sizun in the Bretagne area. Plogoff is the figurehead of Europe. Marked by a strong maritime identity, Plogoff, draws a form lengthened which advances towards the sea to this emblematic point, the Point of the Strong current, classified Grand National Site. At the end of the years 1970, the French State wanted to establish a nuclear plant on the territory of the commune. The project was rejected massively by the plogoffists and by other anti-nuclaires partisans from all Bretagne even of whole France. The city is famous for its beaches. Located at the entry of Plogoff, the beach of the Loch this extent of sand, is a beach with a familial character, easy of access and strewn with small splits. Located between the point of Raz and the Point of Van, the beach of bay offers you an imposing landscape, paradise of the surfers and hunters.
