The village of Castelnou is located in the department of Pyrenees Orientales in Languedoc Roussillon. This is one of the most remarkable of Catalonia.
This village is very beautiful as evidenced by the fact that it is ranked among the most beautiful villages in France. Tourists who stop in this village will discover a beautiful place with a castle viscontal in the background, a mountain rising to over 2700 meters: the Canigou.
