Tourism Baie de Somme

Placed in France on the coast of the region Picardie, the territory said Baie de Somme extends over 70 km ² between the point of Hourdel in the South and the point of Saint-Quentin-en-Tourmont in the North. The Somme, the coastal river which gave its name to the department, flows into the Channel at this place. The fresh water becomes brackish there and trains what we call the coastal river which goes back up northward along the coast, maintained by the contributions in fresh water of Authie then Canche. These a little less salty waters are estimated by alevins and adults of numerous sorts of fishes in particular. it forms a kind of biological sub-corridor, with a differentiated body of water going back up globally northward.
