Welcome to bramans

The great richness of Bramans is the immense mountain field of commune (10000 ha) made up on the one hand of forests of larches and aroles and on the other hand of high virgin valleys with their vast pastures, their lakes of altitude, their glaciers and their faunas and flora exceptional. Excursions of all levels and all kinds, from 1200m to 3400m of altitude are thus possible.

Bramans is to face the National park of Vanoise, natural space protected from 53.000 hectares, with its preserved fauna and its flora, and squared by 600 km of paths and forty refuges. Moreover, the National park of Vanoise is bordering with the Italian National park on the Great Paradise.

Thus these 2 twinned parks constitute the greatest reserve protected from Western Europe. You will be able to admire while following the marked out paths of the national park of Vanoise, side fauna, ibexes, chamois, golden eagles, variable marmots, hares, side flora, shoes of Venus, thistles blue, ancolies of the Alps and more than two thousand other species marvellous colours give to the meadows.

The Alpine skiing is present at Bramans thanks to the family ski-lift planted in the middle of the village, ideal for the children and the beginners.

On the difference in height from 100 meters and a 300 m length, come to benefit from a track from blue/green level in a convivial environment.

• Excursions

Excursions of all levels and all kinds, from 1200m yo 3400m high are possible in the commune. Six refuges established in the principal solid masses of the commune ensure a reception of quality at the stages. Among many possibilities of excursions, the way of Small-Happiness crossing Bramans, makes it possible to traverse, with foot or VTT, the villages of High Maurienne. Bramans is also to face the National park of Vanoise, natural space protected from 53.000 hectares, with its preserved fauna and its flora, and squared by 600 km of paths and forty refuges. To discover the mountain field of the commune, you have the possibility of profiting from the experiment of professionals from the mountain. A detailed program is available to the office of tourism.

• Alpinism
