La Villa Mauresque - Hotel ****
From a historical property to a luxury hotel on the Cote d'Azur
Just 30 minutes from Cannes and St Tropez, Boulouris is a beautiful picturesque village on the seafront, just 5 minutes away from St Raphaël, and boasting many beautiful historical properties, mostly still in the hands of the same families for centuries...
La Villa Mauresque was built in 1881 by Chapoulard, the Architect renown for his Moorish villas in the Côte d'Azur, for a Pacha coming back from Orient. Pierre Chapoulart built other famous Villas in the Moorish style along the Cote d'Azur, such as the famous Villa d'Hyères in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, and the Moorish villa of Cap Ferrat.
Christophe San Jose has restored it with love to bring it to its former glory, great care has been taken to maintaining all its original character. Shortly after the renovations the owner decided to transform this once private property into a luxury hotel and to welcome in the "happy few".
