Parc Cité de l'Espace


The Cité de l’Espace is a fun and educational park dedicated to the discovery of space. Located in Toulouse, the cité de l’Espace is a great showcase for the aerospace sector, highly developed in the city of Toulouse. The park was built at the initiative of the city council in partnership with actors of the European aerospace industry. The park was visited by nearly 4 million visitors since its creation in 1997.

Inside an area of 5 hectares, this park is dedicated to children but also parents who are invited to dive into the world of space through numerous attractions such as the "base des enfants, "the "l’allée de l’Infini”, “Astralia” and the “Terr@dome”. You can play the cosmonauts inside a representation of a 53 meters high Ariane V rocket, inside the international space station Mir and a Soyuz spacecraft.

The Cité de l’Espace has some planetariums and an IMAX cinema where movies are played in 3D with the intention of discovering the world of space with fun. The public is also invited to have a look at three exhibitions’ areas that were inspired by scenery of comics and science fiction.
