Musée européen d'art campanaire

The European campanology museum is located in L'Isle-Jourdain. The museum has collections dedicated to the bells and the carillon (which refers to their steeples or bells). The collections are divided into 7 areas.

In the first space, one can discover the manufacturing steps of the bell. The second space is dedicated to the chime of the Bastille in 1789 saved from destruction. In the third area, there is the monumental clock. The instruments of darkness occupy the fourth space. The fifth area is reserved for campanological cultures around the world. The sixth makes us discover the bells, bells for animals. The last space is occupied by the bell, the family heirloom.
