Le musée de la Mer
The Museum of the Sea is located on Île Sainte-Marguerite, off Cannes. The site occupies the oldest part of the Royal Fort Vauban-type.
It has since 1977 archaeological remains which are derived from terrestrial and underwater excavations and explanatory models. Fragments of Roman wall paintings are also visible in the museum.
Finally, a space dedicated to temporary exhibitions.
