Cathédrale Orthodoxe Russe

Inaugurated in 1859 because of the importance of the Russian community living in Nice, the Russian Orthodox Cathedral is the oldest building of its kind outside of Russia.

Inside, we find a richly decorated with many icons, frescoes, carved woodwork and an iconostasis of embossed metal.

Warning: as in any place of worship, certain rules must be followed. Entry may be refused in case of non-compliance with these principles. Proper attire required.
