Tourism Roubaix

Roubaix is a town situated in the north eastern of France on the Belgium border, to the north east of Lille.

In the past, the town used to be an industrial textile centre, a lot of effort has been put into the restoration of the old industrial buildings, the most popular is probably the factory. The Archive for the World of Work buildings in a converted cotton mill are another relevant example.

• The church of Saint-Martin and bell tower dating from the 16th century though much of the church itself is a 19th century extension.
