Music festival sully and loiret

The success of the previous edition, the Festival de Musique de Sully and Loiret offers from 16 May to 1 June 2014 41st edition full of surprises .

Known for its openness and diversity in the choice of works programmed , it offers once again for more than fifteen days , a variety of musical experiences. Its programming is developed to provide a balance between renowned artists and aspiring artists between intimate and masterful works programs.

Program , great names in music like Liz Mc Comb, Sandrine Piau and Paladins , Café Zimmermann, The Centuries and Ensemble Match but also artists of the younger generation represented by Rémi Geniet , Raquel Camarinha and Romain Bokler of 'Hostel God.

Lovers of classical music but also music lovers discover 16 concerts in 9 different cities. Through the East department West and North to South, the Festival will stop in his birthplace city, Sully- sur-Loire , on several occasions and especially for the opening and closing of this new edition.

Particular attention is given to the choice of concert venues . Beyond the sound issue, most of them have a historic or architectural interest which reflects the richness of the department. This year's event will be an anchor in the heart of 11 heritage sites loirétains . Some emblematic places of the festival are invested every year. However, in order to give the public the opportunity to discover the diversity of the land , some remarkable sites are occasionally sought as the Basilica of Saint -Benoît- sur- Loire host a concert this year.

The festival is organized since 2007 by the General Council of Loiret in partnership with the City of Sully -sur -Loire. Their wish is to discover classical music through loirétain heritage.

This year , the festival will also offer guided tours, school concerts and free concerts that allow to reach out to new audiences and enhance the festive dimension of this cultural event.
