Musée d'Aristide Maillol

Aristide Maillol Museum, located in the Pyrénées Oientales opens in the city where the artist comes from. The museum is housed in the farmhouse which was converted into a studio for the artist, in honor of his memory. Tourists will find drawings, paintings and sculptures.

This is the model of Aristide Maillol, Dina Vierny, who contributed to the dissemination of this artist. Little known in his lifetime, he won great fame for his bronze sculptures. This museum is located in an isolated place, surrounded by nature and mountains. This is where the model and the artist realized many creations for over ten years, whether drawings, paintings or sculptures.
