International Festival established in 1981, Montpellier Danse is the meeting point of all danseset of all cultures in order to make Montpellier a metropolis of contemporary creation. Over the years, the event has grown in importance and fame, to have his own dedicated theater since 2007 and to be called "the dance of Avignon". It gathers every year more than 20,000 dance enthusiasts from around the world to admire the most renowned choreographers and most innovative companies, which intersect in a creative and pluralistic atmosphere.
