Tourisme Pouilly sur Loire

The Pouilly-on-Loire is located in the department of Nievre and the Burgundy area. Skirting the river, the Roman way goes right down on Pouilly in the middle of the vineyard and crosses the city. This way is a vestige of the very old road installation by the Roman administration which, skirting Right Bank of the river, led from Roanne to Orleans. To a small long and narrow street going up towards the edges of the Loire up to the center borough, the vestiges of the old medieval fortress which belonged to defenses of the city on the Loire are distinguished.
