Tourism Malicorne-sur-Sarthe

Maliah, a small town on the banks of the Sarthe, is located at a trenteine kms of Le Mans and a half of the Arrow and sand.Joint capital of Canton, 1900 inhabitants.It has one of the prettiest town in the department, consisting of a main street and three seats on one of which we see the church.On the other hand, during the Sarthe, drawing a wide meander-shaped loop is probably the origin of the name Maliah: "Bad Horn" who was known for dangerous navigation and boatmen in the Middle Since the river, we discover at once the Romanesque church of the XIth century, the mills that the ivy lining and half the dam of foam covering the lower reach, and especially the Castle with its moat.
