Tourism Arêches-Beaufort

Arêches Beaufort is a ski resort located in Savoie, accessible from the village of Arêches, attached to the town of Beaufort-sur-Doron.

We dubbed this little town tyrol, or Little Switzerland because of the large number of mountain chalets in wood, and herds of cows Tarine that we encounter. Note that in common the presence of three hydroelectric dams: Roselend, St Guerin, La Gittaz. But also the beautiful village of typical Boudin, clinging to the slopes of the Col du Pré above Arêches. This village classified and protected, has the distinction of having staged its habitat on nearly vertical drop of 200m. Arêches Beaufort has been able to develop tourism without losing the farmers as in many French ski resorts.
