Peoples festival and music in cinema

The association organizes the Escambiar Peoples Festival and Music in the cinema, festival celebrates the music of the peoples of the world. The aim of the festival is to know and understand all the peoples of the Earth, their history and characteristics, through music, but also movies. The ethical issues of the festival are strong. Indeed, the festival provides access to the discovery of foreign peoples through film and music that are universal interests.

The festival lasts for four days with the projection of twenty films (fiction and documentary). We invite directors, ethnomusicologists, musicians and scholars for discussion meetings after the films.
We are currently preparing the next edition of the festival which takes place from October 30 to November 2, 2014 in La Cinémathèque de Toulouse.
