During his lifetime, Albert Dubout (Marseille 1905-Mézy-sur-Seine, 1976) has illustrated more than 80 books, the last of which appeared after his death. He has published 27 albums and 80 creates movie posters and advertising. In addition, he completed 70 oil paintings including the famous Bullfights with their lights and shadows and the Toreros.

Magritte and Steinberg, it is certainly one of the most influential artists of a generation of designers and illustrators.
