Guided tours “Archaeology through relief plans”
Follow the guide to discover the unique collection in the world of relief plans, historical models of fortified sites, made between the reigns of Louis XIV and Napoleon III. From Mont Saint-Michel to Toulon, via Bayonne and the Île de Ré, the visitor will see how these very special objects could serve (and still serve!) as archaeological tools and historical witnesses to the evolution of cities.
