Interceltique festival in lorient


Le Festival Interceltique de Lorient was created in 1971 with the aim of contributing to the development of Breton music and cultur and opening up to the Celtic settlement nation in the British Isles such as Ireland, Scotland, Wales...

It is today in the heart of the Celtic planet.

Every year, the festival brings together more than 800 000 festival-goers and receives the helps of more than 1 000 active volunteers with 4 500 artists from around the world performing for nearly 120 shows on the 11 stages available.

Every year one of the invited countries is honored. The festival offers every day the book quay, the quayside of the Celtic countries, the interceltic market, traditional group shows and many other activities.
