20th fair of apple and onion

The pyramid sets the tone for the Agricultural Fair . 4 meters high and built in the city center , it will present the new crop of Sweet Onion Cevennes and Apple Pippin of Vigan.

The program for these two days

• Photo exhibition of photographer Jean Boisberranger on growing sweet onions in the lobby of City Hall .
• Raffle for all traders : Find the weight of a bag of onions and apples and leave with , and a voucher for the value of the weight (eg 3.5 kg = 35 € voucher ) .

Saturday, October 26

14pm to 18pm , free in the city center family entertainment : Puppet Show , wooden games, pony rides , archery . Snacks on the spot ( pancakes, grilled chestnuts ... ) . A walk on the terrace cultivation is also available from Saint Martial , a village of character located in the heart of the scope of the Sites of Taste. Starting 14h before the coffee Lou Régalou , duration 3 hours , no problem .

Sunday, October 27

All day ( from 9:30 am to 18h ), large regional market (70 producers) , sale of russet potatoes and sweet onions Vigan Cevennes by the cooperative. Local dishes , soup giant onion , musical entertainment with ambulatory Montpellier Bakchich fanfare .

• Meals producers : developed by the farmers of the cooperative , the price of 15 € ( starter, main course, cheese , dessert and wine included ) . Ticket sales on the same day ( details on site).
