Xxth century to the museum of grenoble

January 29th, 1994 was inaugurated the building intended to welcome the collections of the museum of paints and sculptures which, thanks to this new stage in its history, was more simply mentioned the " museum of Grenoble ".

Sheltered up to there, and it since 1876, in Charles Auguste Questel's building, place of Verdun, the new museum owed its conception to a team of architects from Grenoble: Olivier Félix-Faure, Antoine Félix-Faure and Philippe Macary.
