The charolles organ days : jean-luc ho and « les meslanges »

An instrument as remarkable as the Charolles organ must provide not only the extremely popular Market Concert series, but also a Festival during which some of the greatest works in the repertory can be heard.  Three days, three concerts ...  and time to enjoy the subtle charm of the Charolais-Brionnais region and its treasures :  romanesque chapels nestling in the wooded countryside, the famous white Charolais cattle and the resulting delights of refined eating ...  these are pleasures which are entirely compatible with the colourful sounds of the organ !

The organist Jean-Luc Ho and the four singers of the ensemble « Les Meslanges » with the serpent-player Volny Hostiou are highly specialized in French music from the Grand Siècle and will present F.Couperin’s masterpiece « Messe à l'usage ordinaire des Paroisses» with alternatim verses (voice/organ), interspersed with motets ...  Only Louis XIV will be missing !
