Carcassonne festival

The beautiful city of Carcassonne welcomes once again this year Le Festival de Carcassonne long awaited by the inhabitants of the city and its visitors. The incredible cultural festival opened its doors in 2006 and thus celebrates its 12th edition this year. It is popular thanks to its diversity of performance genres and the presence of international artists.

From the middle of July until its end, the festival invades the medieval city of Carcassonne with more than 120 shows of all kinds, you can enjoy contemporary music concerts, operas, dance shows and even plays of theater, and among all these beautiful things, 80 shows will be totally free.
Famous and world-famous artists have already performed there, for example the French Pop Rock band Indochine or the German Hard Rock band Scorpion, even Olivia Ruiz and many other artists were able to feast on the audience on the Grande Scene La Fajoelle, on the stage of the Château Comtal located in the center of the city and finally at the Théâtre Jean-Deschamps.

This event is becoming more important every year and and it brings together today not for from 250 000 spectators by editions.
