Festival voix des merveilles

From May 18 to 20, 2018, the Roya Valley is a box for the voices of the wonders.

Imagine a valley, well-named Valley of Wonders, where nature is full of jewels of architecture and religious heritage ... Imagine that during three days, resonate in these places the most beautiful voices and music ...

This is the invitation of the association Voix des Merveilles which organizes, from 18 to 20 May 2018, in the heart of the Valley of the Roya.

Voice of Wonders: a festival of singing and music, an enchanted parenthesis out of time, on the Italian border of Alpes-Maritimes.

Since its creation, the association Voix des Merveilles, chaired by Maria Rosa Carminati, international lyric singer, and coordinated by Xavier Durif, has given itself the mission to promote and develop the culture and the musical heritage in the cross-border territory of the Valley of Roya. With this in mind, she created the festival Voix des Merveilles, an event that aims to highlight beauty, vocal and musical excellence, through innovative works created, adapted, and presented in an exceptional architectural setting, a true heritage national.

For the second consecutive year, the festival of Voices of Wonders will beat the heart of the Valley of Roya ... and that of all lovers of beautiful voices, opera, classical music, and places full of history, beautiful ...

When the voice unites men and the arts.

At the crossroads of the arts, the festival of Voices of Wonders brings together around the Voices of Wonders, music and theater, dance, puppets, and of course singing ... still and always singing, the one that enchants hearts, suspends time and captivates space.

Hosting international artists and supporting the creation of innovative works, the festival aims to become an unmissable event in the Alpes-Maritimes and to make Breil-sur-Roya, the regional epicenter of opera.

Didier Loquin of the association Voix des Merveilles, underlines, "The objective of Voix des Merveilles is not only to be a festival, but a force of proposal and creation of works highlighting the Voice, in creations allowing transversality of the arts ... both during the festival and throughout the year by developing partnerships with regional, national and international structures."
