From the top of the Cret de Chatillon, where there is an orientation table, it is possible to observe the different mountains around: Parmelan, Teeth Lanfon, Breakthrough peak, Mont Blanc, Aiguille du dome and Taste, Dent du Geant Aiguille du Midi massif Beaufortain Mount Pourri, the Bauges massif des Ecrins, Dent du Chat, and two of 3 lakes: Lake Bourget and Lake Annecy. This is most visible from a point further downstream from the top for a shoulder of the mountain face almost entirely.
Initially Annecy or Quintal, the road climbs almost to the top, allowing those unable to walk long distances to admire a beautiful landscape and the breathtaking panorama. The road descends on the other side towards the neck Leschaux allowing return to Annecy by the lake or go towards the Wallows.
