Seine-et-Marne is a French department that is part of the Ile-de-France region. It is surrounded by the departments of Val-d'Oise, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, Essonne, Loiret, Yonne, Aube, Marne, Aisne and Oise. The main cities are Melun, Fontainebleau, Meaux, Provins and Torcy.
