Tourism Plougoulm - le gouel en eost

Plougoulm is a commune of the department of Finistere, in the Bretagne area. Plougoulm has three beaches and is crossed by two rivers: the Horn and Guillec. The commune also has a forest: the wood of the Palud. You can discover churches and vaults. The Saint-Colomban church which was built at the XVIIIth century and was rebuilt in 1833. The chapel of Prat-Coulm that dates from the XIXth century and depended on the manor on Dourduff. Of rectangular form, rebuilt in 1843 and restored at the end of the XIXth century. The mill of Kerellec that date from XIVth century, it is on banks of the river of Horn. It comprises a ground of 6000 square meters and was restored in 1994. Around the mill s' extends the river and the flora which remains very quite made up to today. A very interesting event is Gouel en Eost. This festival was born in 1981 of agroup of men and women wanting to make revive the harvest festival in Plougoulm. This festival occurs in mid-August.
