Bretagne or Brittany is a region of France located in the north west of the country. The departments of the region are Côtes-d’Armor, Finistère, Ille-et-Vilaine and Morbihan. The main cities are Brest, Lorient, Quimper, Rennes, Saint-BrieucVannes .

Bretagne has a natural heritage that is rich and varied and it is a peninsula that benefits from having a great range of marine and littoral landscapes, as well as remarkable inlands with peat bogs and moors. Bretagne shelters northern and southern species hence the remarkable biodiversity.

The coastal Britain with the Atlantic Ocean and the Channel consists of caps, sandy beaches, rocky peninsulas, granite cliffs. In the inner Britain, there are moors, marshes and forests, rivers and canals. Finally cultural Britain is organized in every village, with dolmens, churchyards and chapels, walls or an entire walled city.

The local specialties are Saint-Jacques, Oysters, and fishes. Pancakes, cider and the ‘Chouchenn’, kouign amann and cocos of Paimpol .
