Le marathon des mots in toulouse


Le marathon des mots is an incredible festival of essential reading of literature in France where actors interprete readings to a wide audiance or simply interpreted by the author himself for about 45 minutes. This event was created in 2005 by the writer and actor Olivier Poivre d'Arvot. The festival opens its doors throughout the metropolis of Toulouse around the last weekend of June.

Serveral cultural venues are mobilized during these 4 days to animate more that 150 literary meetings where you can live concerts, debates, book signings, famous reading interpreted and many other cultural activities reserved for children such as well as literary snacks. All these readings  are of course free to the public.
