The building was a simple Benedictine chapel until the 13th century, the Saint-George of Bourbon-l'Archambault is a gem of a Burgundy style building. It was built in the second half of the 12th century.

The Lyre Bourbonnaise (a sort of small harp) was created 130 years ago. The thermal city of Bourbon l'Archambault enjoys a musical atmosphere. Discover and watch the marches, listen to the films original sound tracks, international, classical and religious music.

There are eleven informative kiosks scattered around the heart of the village of Bourbon-l'Archambault. This gives the opportunity to discover freely the heritage of the thermal part of the city as well as the historical part of the city. From the Saint Georges Romanesque church to the fortress of the dukes, from the Tower 'Qui qu'en Grogne' to the panorama of the new thermal park, via the Montespan paths, the 'Place Charles Delorme', the Thermal baths, the panoramic viewpoint of the cornice, the 'monteé de la prison' or the Sainte- Chapelle.
